About the estate
The Teleda estate was founded in 2012 by Giorgi Dakhishvili and Mamuka Tsereteli in Telavi in the heart of the Kakheti region. The winery combines the deep roots of Georgian winemaking culture with a global outlook, focusing on traditional methods such as aging in qvevris. The company name is derived from the ancient name for Telavi and the traditional term for a qvevri lid. The logo features the Borjghali, an ancient Georgian symbol representing the sun and eternity. Today, the winery continues this historic legacy through authentic wines.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Saperavi and Rkatsiteli.
