About the estate

The Tanner Weine - Weingut im Herrenfeld estate is located in Maienfeld in the Bündner Herrschaft region and is run by Nicole and Martin Tanner in at least the sixth generation. Across approximately 3.5 hectares of vineyards, varieties such as Pinot Noir, Riesling-Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, and Cabernet Dorsa are cultivated. The estate avoids the use of insecticides and herbicides in the vineyard, and the oldest vines are over 50 years old. All work from vine planting to wine bottling is carried out by the family together with relatives and friends. The wines are subsequently vinified directly on the estate in the traditional press house.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Müller-Thurgau.
