About the estate
The Steflhof estate has its origins in a property built in 1750 in Kaltern an der Weinstraße, which was acquired by the Andergassen family in 1924. The family's history dates back in records to 1419 and has been closely tied to agriculture for generations. In 1965, Walter Andergassen took over the farm and became one of the first in Kaltern to vinify and market his own grape harvests. Today, the South Tyrolean winery produces wines under the Alto Adige DOC and Toscana IGT denominations. In addition to winemaking, the estate also offers guest apartments.
