About the estate
The Siro Merotto winery was founded in 1960 by Giovanni and Siro and is now run by Nicola, continuing the family tradition. The estate cultivates six hectares of its own vineyards situated on steep hillside plots with gradients of up to 45 percent in Col San Martino. The plots are planted with Glera and old local grape varieties, while all tasks including harvesting are carried out manually with a focus on environmental sustainability. In the cellar, the production process involves extended ageing on the lees and secondary fermentation at low temperatures. The portfolio centers on sparkling wines from the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG denomination.
