About the estate
The Simonica winery is a family-run Georgian estate based in Imereti, founded in 2008 by Nugzar and Mamuka Chkheidze. Today, the estate is managed by Nini Chkheidze representing the third generation, combining traditional Qvevri winemaking with international experience. The family cultivates four hectares of vineyards in Obcha and Samegrelo, growing indigenous grape varieties. From these grapes, they produce a focused range of natural wines including white, rosé, red, and naturally sparkling styles with minimal intervention. The winery has also been a member of the Natural Wine Association of Georgia.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Otskhanuri Sapere and Tsitska.
