About the estate
The Sigl winery is located amidst the vineyards of Rossatz in the Wachau region. The estate cultivates 8.0 hectares of vineyards, with Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, and Gelber Muskateller among its leading grape varieties. The grapes originate from vineyard sites including Himmelreich, Frauenweingärten, and Kirnberg. Since 2018, the estate has been transitioning to organic viticulture and has been certified organic starting from the 2021 vintage. The wines are produced through a combination of quality-oriented vineyard management, modern winemaking technology, and gentle processing.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
