About the estate

The Sektkellerei Oppmann estate based in Würzburg looks back on a long history that began in 1865 when Josef Oppmann founded the enterprise in Franconia. After the main building was destroyed in 1945, production resumed in the surviving vaulted cellars. The oldest sparkling wine cellar in Bavaria maintains a close relationship with winemakers, sourcing base wines directly from them. All wines are personally selected on-site by the board of directors and the cellar master. The product range of the specialty winery includes vintage sparkling wines, cuvées, seccos, and sparkling wine mixed beverages.
