About the estate
The Schlossberg estate is run by the Wertek family in Bad Vöslau in the Thermenregion, where the family has been cultivating wine for many generations. The vineyards are managed close to nature. In 2005, the family started the new construction of the current winery because the former location offered no further potential for expansion. The cellar is managed by Markus Wertek, who focuses on fresh, fruity white wines and heavy, digestible red wines. The wines are sold directly at the estate and through the online shop.
