About the estate

The Schäffer winery located in Feuersbrunn in the Wagram region is managed as a family business across generations. The vines grow on the massive loess soils of the Wagram on south-facing terraces. The local microclimate is shaped by warm Pannonian air and cool winds from the Manhartsberg. During the nature-oriented and sustainable cultivation, great care is taken to handle the environment gently. The estate focuses on producing typical grape and regional wines with character and elegance under the Wagram DAC denomination.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt.
