About the estate
The Sangiolele estate is managed by Lucilla and Gabriele, who relocated to Tuscany after years of working in the financial sector. Located in Montalcino, the property features a one-hectare vineyard situated at 250 meters above sea level on sandy-clay soils, which includes old Sangiovese vines. Cultivation follows traditional principles with low-intervention methods, manual harvesting, and careful selection of bunches directly in the vineyard. The cellar exclusively produces single-variety Orcia DOC wines from estate-grown grapes. Agricultural activities are further complemented by an olive grove and an important cultivation of ancient fig varieties.
