About the estate

The Terre Senesi Valdorcia estate was founded in 1998 by four friends in the heart of the Val d'Orcia natural park. The vineyards cover four hectares in a hill position exposed to the southeast and southwest at an altitude between four hundred and five hundred meters. Soils rich in galestro, sand, and limestone are planted mainly with Sangiovese alongside various native and international grape varieties. The entire winery operates according to organic guidelines using traditional cultivation methods while avoiding pesticides. The wines are traditionally aged in wooden barrels before being released to the market.
