About the estate

The Sa Chateau Mont Redon estate is located in the northwest of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. In 1923, Henri Plantin acquired this isolated property surrounded by woods and acted as a pioneer by clearing the unexploited land and planting vines. The estate, which forms a single plot, has the privilege of featuring the three emblematic terroirs of the region, consisting predominantly of the plateau rolled pebbles, as well as safres and Urgonian limestone. These three highly complementary terroirs are the origin of the complexity and quality of the wines.
