About the estate
The Russo Winery S.r.l.s. estate looks back on a long family tradition dating back to the late 19th century in Solicchiata on Mount Etna. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of approximately 700 meters on the northeastern slope of the volcano, where the family cultivates native grape varieties. In 1955, Francesco and Vincenzo Russo established a small winery and bottled their first wine in 1956. Today, the historic estate is managed in the fourth generation by Gina and Francesco Russo together with their father Vincenzo. The portfolio includes wines under designations such as Etna DOC and Sicilia DOC.
