About the estate

The RUBINELLI VAJOL – SOCIETA’ AGRICOLA SEMPLICE estate is located in San Pietro in Cariano in the Veneto region and covers ten hectares of vineyards. The family history in Valpolicella was founded by Gaetano Rubinelli, who acquired the Vajol countryside in the early twentieth century. The vineyards are situated in a bowl-shaped configuration in the heart of historical Valpolicella and are planted with native grape varieties. The portfolio includes Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG, Valpolicella Classico DOC, Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC, and Valpolicella Ripasso DOC. The wines are aged in large oak barrels within a cool, dark cellar carved out of tuff stone.
