About the estate
The Royal Khvanchkara company was founded in 2015, continuing the historical winemaking tradition of the Racha region. Its own vineyards cover 25 hectares across four villages in the region, namely Sadmelis Chala, Koveli, Tola, and Chkvishi. The cultivated grape varieties include Aleksandrouli, Mujuretuli, Dzelshavi, and Rachuli Tetra, which are used to produce wines such as Khvanchkara and Tvishi. The estate combines accumulated knowledge with modern technologies following the reconstruction and updating of its production facilities.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Aleksandrouli and Tsolikouri.
