About the estate

The Alvazi-2020 winery has been engaged in viticulture in Ambrolauri and Jvarisa since 2000. Across a vineyard area of 30 hectares, various local grape varieties such as Alexandrouli, Mujuretuli, Tsolikouri, and Rachuli Mtsvane are cultivated. In vineyard management, the estate focuses on ecologically clean and sustainable components as well as innovative approaches in the Racha region. In 2016, the vineyard owners founded the Alvazi agricultural cooperative, which currently successfully carries out wine processing and distribution.
