About the estate
The family-owned Roura estate farms around 45 hectares of its own vineyards in the heart of Alella north of Barcelona. Founded in the early 1980s by Juan Antonio Pérez Roura, the winery builds upon a millennia-old winemaking tradition in the region. The portfolio includes wines and cavas under the Alella, Catalunya, and Cava appellations, produced from up to ten different grape varieties such as Xarel-lo, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The production combines traditional methods with modern cellar facilities and currently exports to several European and Asian countries.
