About the estate
The Fev company includes the traditional winery Bodega Parxet, which produced its first bottles using the méthode champenoise in Tiana near Barcelona in 1920. Today, the estate manages around 60 hectares of vineyards in the Alella region and has established itself as a pioneer for sparkling wines made from the native grape variety Pansa Blanca. The vineyards extend across different microclimates on the weathered granite soil typical of the denomination, known as sauló. All vineyard areas are currently in the process of converting to 100 percent organic farming. Cellar work is characterized by minimal intervention in order to preserve the purity of the fruit and the character of each vintage.
The eno directory lists 47 wines, mostly from Verdejo and Chardonnay. The estate sells to retail.
