About the estate
The Romignano estate has its origins in the early 1920s when the current owner's grandfather built Villa Belvedere in the Valdarno area of Tuscany and planted the first vineyards. After eventful decades and interruptions caused by war, the family returned in the late nineties, built a new winery, and resumed wine production. Today, the property is managed by grandson Riccardo Rossi, who returned home after studying agricultural science and enology to continue the family legacy. The terroir is shaped by a unique microclimate situated between the Arno river and the massive Pratomagno mountain. The production portfolio includes Chianti DOCG, among other wines.
