About the estate
The historic Badia Di Morrona estate is located in Terricciola and traces its history back to an ancient abbey founded in the first millennium AD. Since 1939, the 600-hectare property has been managed by the Counts Gaslini Alberti family, with the third generation currently leading the winery. The vineyards benefit from a microclimate influenced by marine currents and a unique geological mosaic of clay soils, fossils, and travertine. Alongside Sangiovese, which is emblematic of the region, international grape varieties are cultivated and vinified in a modern, sustainable winery. The production includes wines under the Chianti DOCG, Terre di Pisa DOC, and Toscana IGT denominations.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Vermentino and Syrah.
