About the estate
The Ridgeview Wine Estate was founded in 1995 by Mike and Christine Roberts in Ditchling, East Sussex. Recognizing that the chalk soils of the South Downs share the same geological seam as Champagne, they planted Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier to produce traditional method sparkling wines. The estate combines family traditions with certified sustainable practices in both the vineyard and the winery. Operations feature underground naturally temperature-controlled cellars, solar energy systems, and wastewater treatment initiatives. Ridgeview sparkling wines are served at prestigious state events and international venues.
