About the estate
The Rathfinny Wine Estate was established in 2010 by Mark and Sarah Driver in the South Downs of Sussex. Across 93 hectares of vineyards situated on a south-facing slope, the principal grape varieties cultivated are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, alongside a small amount of Pinot Gris. The estate benefits from a maritime climate influenced by the English Channel and free-draining chalky soils. All grapes are harvested by hand. The production focuses on sparkling wines released under the Sussex PDO designation.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
