About the estate

Acquired in 2017 by Gary and Kathy Jordan, Mousehall Country Estate is situated in a secluded valley in East Sussex and traces its recorded history back to the Domesday Book of 1086. The working estate cultivates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier in its vineyards alongside the production of spirits such as gin and vodka. In addition to viticulture, the property features an on-site distillery established in 2021 within a converted barn, as well as agricultural activities involving sheep and beehives. This family-run estate combines artisanal production with hospitality offerings including tours, tastings, and guest accommodation. The daily operations and farm management are carried out by a dedicated resident team.
