About the estate
The traditional Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt estate looks back on a history of over 675 years since its founding in 1349 and is based in Morscheid on the Mosel. Across 50 hectares of vineyards spanning the Mosel, Saar, and Ruwer regions, the winery cultivates elegant Rieslings and selected Burgundian grape varieties in numerous renowned steep slopes. Vinification in the cellar is carried out gently, while great emphasis is placed on sustainable management and manual labor in the vineyards. Following the acquisition by Günther Reh in 1978, Annegret Reh-Gartner shaped the estate's destiny for decades, enhancing quality through a targeted reduction of the vineyard area. The wines of the estate are distributed internationally and reflect the diverse slate soils of their origin.
