Rebgut Sunnehalde

About the estate

The Rebgut Sunnehalde estate is situated in a prime location on the Ottenberg in Weinfelden in the canton of Thurgau. First mentioned in historical records in 1429 under the name Heinrichs Güetli, the property was owned by the Bornhauser family for around 500 years before being acquired by Rutishauser Weinkellerei AG in 1933. Today, the estate encompasses a vineyard area of approximately four hectares. The grape variety portfolio includes Pinot Noir, Garanoir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Müller Thurgau, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Johanniter. The oldest vines are about 40 years old, and their yields are harvested separately and processed gently into wine.
