About the estate
The Raventós Codorníu estate looks back on the history of 18 generations of a winegrowing family. In 1872, Josep Raventós Fatjó produced the first bottle of Cava by applying the traditional method to the grape varieties Macabeo, Xarello, and Parellada. The estate's cellars located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia were declared a National Historic-Artistic Monument in 1976. Today, the company exports its Cavas of the Cava DO denomination to numerous countries worldwide.
