About the estate
The Pruneto estate is located in Radda in Chianti in Tuscany and operates within the Chianti Classico DOCG denomination. Giuseppe Lanza acquired the property at the end of the 1960s, and the agricultural enterprise was formally established in the 1970s under the leadership of Riccardo Lanza. The first of the current vineyards was planted in 1972, followed by restoration work on the cellar and fermentation room. The first vintage was bottled in 1981.
The eno directory lists one wine. The estate sells to importers, distributors, horeca and retail. Export markets include Austria, Germany and United Kingdom.
