About the estate

The Pröstler winery in Haugsdorf in the Weinviertel region has existed since 1864 and is managed today in the fifth generation by the family. The Haugsdorf red wine island offers fertile loess soils for exceptional red wines as well as loam-gravel and primary rock terroir soils for fruitful white wines. The estate combines the many years of experience of the senior generation with innovative ideas and advanced technology applied by the young winemakers. In addition to new grape varieties and wine creations, personal customer relationships and tastings shape the profile of the family business. Distribution includes direct wine shipping as well as presentations at regional events.
