About the estate

The ΡΟΥΒΑΛΗΣ winery was founded in 1990 by Angelos Rouvalis, who established a model gravity-fed winery in the mountain slopes of Aigialeia in the Peloponnese. The region is characterized by high-altitude, terraced vineyards overlooking the Gulf of Corinth, providing ideal conditions for cultivating the traditional variety Roditis. Today, the family estate is managed by winemaker Theodora Rouvalis and enologist Antonio Ruiz Pañego, who bring extensive international experience to the operations. The team focuses on gentle vinification methods with minimal intervention to express the distinct character of this alpine and maritime terroir. The estate's wines fall under the Peloponnese PGI and Πλαγιές Αιγιάλειας PGI designations.
