About the estate
The organic family winery ΟΙΝΟΠΟΙΙΑ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΚΟΥ is based in Corinth in the Peloponnese and traces its history back to 1896, when the Giannikos family planted their first vines in Mycenae. Following a devastating fire, Michalis Giannikos rebuilt the independent family business as a modern winery on the slopes of Ancient Corinth. The estate focuses on producing single-varietal wines from indigenous Greek grape varieties as well as international grapes. Today, the winery is considered one of the leading organic producers in Greece and distributes its certified organic wines worldwide with exports under the Peloponnese PGI denomination.
