About the estate
The Artemis Karamolegos Winery continues a family tradition that began in the 1950s with the cultivation of local produce and the creation of an initial canava. In 2003, the first wine was produced at the new winery premises in Exo Gonia, set upon the volcanic soils of Santorini. The estate specializes in the Assyrtiko grape variety, offering a diverse portfolio that ranges from classics such as Santorini PDO and Nykteri to a fine wine collection and single-vineyard bottlings. Additional varieties like Aidani, Mandilaria, and Mavrotragano are also cultivated. The resulting wines reflect the distinctive volcanic terroir and possess notable aging potential.
