About the estate
The Gaia Wines estate was founded in 1994 and manages 7 hectares of vineyards in Koutsi within the Nemea PDO. The founders, two agricultural scientists, established operations in the Greek regions of Nemea and Santorini with a primary focus on the native grape varieties Agiorgitiko and Assyrtiko. The portfolio includes red wines, white wines such as Thalassitis, as well as sparkling and natural wines, combining traditional methods with innovative practices like clay vessel aging and underwater bottle maturation. The wines are distributed internationally and reflect the distinct character of their respective origins.
The eno directory lists 22 wines, mostly from Agiorgitiko and Assyrtiko.
