About the estate
The Domaine Sigalas estate was founded in 1991 by Paris Sigalas on the island of Santorini in the Cyclades. The winery sustainably farms vineyards in the plain of Oia, producing wines with a focus on indigenous grape varieties such as Assyrtiko. The island's volcanic, phylloxera-free soils form the basis for crafting traditional styles such as PDO Santorini and Vinsanto. Today, the winery belongs to the Kir-Yianni family and ranks among the prominent exporters of Greek wines. The operational approach combines the preservation of historical cultivation methods with continuous innovation in the vineyard and cellar.
