About the estate
The Podrum Botunjac winery is located in the village of Donje Zleginje in the Serbian region of Župa aleksandrovačka. On the family estate, Kosta Botunjac continues a centuries-old winemaking tradition shaped by his ancestors. The vineyards are situated on the historical Hrašnjaci site, whose soil imparts a unique character to the wine. To ensure high quality, yields are significantly reduced through targeted cluster removal. Vinification is carried out gently and without pumps using natural gravity, while the Pinot Noir is aged in traditional oak barrels.
