About the estate
The Podere La Cappella estate is located in the hills of the Chianti Classico appellation in Tuscany and was founded by Bruno Rossini, who acquired the property in the late 1970s. Today, the winery is run by his daughter Natascia. The estate takes its name from the historic church of Santa Maria a Cerbaia dating back to 1076, located within the company grounds. The vineyards feature soils of galestro, limestone, and clay, and are strongly influenced by winds blowing from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Sangiovese dominates the planted area, alongside varieties such as Merlot and Vermentino.
