About the estate

The Podere Ferrale estate is situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region in Radda in Tuscany, tracing its history back to the Middle Ages. In 1900, the property was purchased by Antonio Soderi, and after intervening years of other ownership, it was restored to the family in 2016 by his descendants Franco and Samanta. The estate spans 2.8 hectares of vineyards, cultivating varieties such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo, and Malvasia Toscana. Operating under organic practices, the winery focuses on sustainable cultivation to produce Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT wines. Agricultural activities also include olive groves alongside hospitality offerings on the historic property.

The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Sangiovese and Canaiolo.
