About the estate

The Pieve de’ Pitti estate is located in Terricciola in Tuscany and manages vineyards characterized by a diverse geological and geographical composition. The west- and southwest-facing sites benefit from constant sea breezes as well as soils rich in shells, fossils, and corals. On the east-facing slope shaped by the Sterza river, Sangiovese thrives on soils featuring large, round white stones that reflect sunlight throughout the day. These varied conditions allow the winery to cultivate grape varieties specifically suited to the potential of each individual terroir.
