About the estate
The Pieri estate has been owned by the Pieri family since the early nineteenth century and covers approximately 50 hectares. The vineyards are situated in a small valley on the slopes of Monte Conero on white, lime-rich soils with surfacing calcareous malm rocks. Luigi Maria Pieri focuses on traditional manual labour, ranging from hand-harvesting and spontaneous fermentation without external yeasts to the manual numbering of each bottle. Alongside viticulture, the property also cultivates olive trees, legumes, and cereals. The portfolio includes wines from denominations such as Conero Riserva DOCG and Rosso Conero DOC.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Merlot and Syrah.
