About the estate
The Malacari estate in Offagna is considered one of the oldest historical wine producers in the Marche region and has been managed by the family for fifteen generations. The origins of the property date back to 1668 with the construction of the historic villa, which houses the cellars on its ground floor. Across approximately 15 hectares of vineyards situated in the areas of Conero and Montecarotto, the estate cultivates the native grape varieties Montepulciano and Verdicchio. Farming follows organic practices to preserve biodiversity and soil vitality. Today, the traditional enterprise is guided by Alessandro Starrabba Malacari as an independent winegrower committed to a fully vertical production chain from vine to bottle.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Montepulciano.
