About the estate
The Piedmont estate is located in Konz-Filzen on the Saar and is managed in the fifth generation by Claus Piedmont and his daughter Sitta. Covering a vineyard area of 2.5 hectares in the premier site of Filzen, Pulchen, the winery cultivates steep vineyards with blue slate soils. The planted grape varieties consist of ninety percent Riesling and ten percent Pinot Blanc. The wines from the Mosel region have received recognition at various supra-regional wine competitions.
