About the estate

Founded in 1905, the Pérez Barquero winery is located in the Montilla-Moriles denomination in the south of Córdoba. The vines are rooted in limestone albariza soils on gentle hillsides characterized by a warm and dry climate. The estate's flagship grape variety is Pedro Ximénez, which is complemented by minor varieties such as Airén, Torrontés, Moscatel, and Baladí-Verdejo. Vinification takes place in traditional concrete vats, followed by aging in oak casks using the traditional solera system. The winery exports its wines to over 60 countries and caters to the professional trade.
