About the estate
The traditional Bodegas Alvear is considered one of the oldest and most emblematic wineries in Andalusia as well as one of the oldest wine-growing families in Spain. With a history spanning more than 300 years, the estate is currently managed by the eighth family generation, producing high-quality wines. The portfolio includes wines from the Montilla-Moriles denomination that showcase the versatility of the Pedro Ximénez grape variety, featuring renowned bottlings such as Fino CB and PX 1927 alongside wines from centennial soleras. In addition, the estate produces red and white wines under the Ribera del Guadiana denomination at Palacio Quemado in the Extremadura region, expressing the unique character of the local terroir.
