About the estate

The Panzanello winery looks back on a long history that began in 1427 and is situated in the area of Greve in Chianti in Tuscany. In 1964, Anna Maria Sommaruga acquired the property, and in 1994 her grandson Andrea Sommaruga took over the management of the vineyards. Over time, the estate's vineyard area has grown from an initial thirty to approximately ninety hectares today. The production follows organic farming methods in harmony with the natural rhythms of the environment. The portfolio of the estate includes wines from the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT denominations.
