Palazzone

About the estate

The Palazzone estate was founded in the late 1960s by Angelo Dubini and his wife Maria Locatelli in Rocca Ripesena near Orvieto. Today, the winery is run by the family in the third generation and includes a boutique hotel on the premises. Covering 24 hectares of vineyards on sedimentary and clay soils, the estate primarily cultivates traditional grape varieties such as Procanico, Grechetto, Verdello, and Malvasia. These are complemented by international varieties like Sauvignon and Viognier, alongside red grapes including Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vinification focuses on longevity and the production of wines with distinct character.
