About the estate
The family-run Orzan winery is located in the heart of the Collio in Capriva del Friuli and was founded in 1964 by Ivaldo Orzan. Today, sons Dario and Renato manage the estate, which spans five hectares of vineyards situated across the Collio hills and the stony plains of the Isonzo. The vineyards are grass-covered and managed without chemical herbicides, using manual or mechanical mowing. The focus is on producing indigenous white wines vinified both traditionally and with skin contact. The annual production amounts to around 25,000 bottles, which are distributed domestically and internationally.
