About the estate

The ÖkoWein Schütte estate in Alsheim in Rheinhessen is run as a family business in the eighth generation. For over 35 years, the winery has cultivated its vineyards according to organic guidelines, consistently relying on manual labor in both the vineyard and the cellar. This sustainable and soil-preserving approach completely avoids artificial herbicides, pesticides, and synthetic fertilizers. In the cellar, the characterful wines mature peacefully, with dry wines being bottled directly from the fine lees. In addition to wine, the portfolio also includes single-varietal, alcohol-free grape juices and verjus.
