About the estate
The Nove Lune estate was founded in 2015 by Alessandro Sala and is located in Italy within the Oasi WWF della Valpredina. Its two vineyards sit in hilly locations in Cenate Sotto and Cenate Sopra at the foot of Mount Misma, where cool night breezes create optimal conditions for aromatic wines. The winery practices organic farming and focuses on fungus-resistant grape varieties, known as PIWI, to drastically reduce the use of crop protection products. All cultivation practices are carried out manually, and yields are intentionally kept very low to promote biodiversity and grape quality.
