About the estate
The Mimmo Vinci winery continues a long family tradition that began in the late nineteenth century with great-grandfather Nicodemo in the hills of Cirò in Calabria. In 2008, Mimmo Vinci returned to cultivate the family vineyards and bottle the grapes under his own name for the first time. The vineyards are located in the territory of Cirò and Cirò Marina, planted predominantly with the main grape variety Gaglioppo as well as the white varieties Pecorello and Mantonico bianco. On the clay-limestone soils, characteristic wines are produced, including the Cirò DOC Rosato Joseph47, the Calabria IGT Bianco Lacinio, and the Cirò DOC Rosso Classico Superiore Chone.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Gaglioppo and Pecorello.
