About the estate
The Meier Weinbau estate cultivates 3.3 hectares of vineyards in Alten in the Zurich wine region. Patrick and Conny Meier run the winery together with Jürg Eigenheer as part of a joint management team. The grapes thrive on healthy vines in sunny steep slopes, with some of the steep plots being farmed exclusively by hand due to the gradient of the terrain. Great care is taken to ensure optimal conditions in order to preserve the quality of the grapes for wine production under the AOC Zürich denomination.
