About the estate
The Martín Codax winery was founded in 1985 in Cambados within the Rías Baixas region and is supported today by hundreds of wine-growing families. The estate specializes in the Albariño grape variety and exports its wines to numerous countries worldwide. The vineyards are situated on granitic and sandy soils near the Atlantic coast, characterized by an oceanic climate. Vineyard management and manual harvesting respect the traditional structure of small parcels and the characteristic overhead training system known as emparrado. In the cellar, the winery combines traditional methods with modern analytical techniques to produce expressive white wines.
